Linda Louise McCartney, Lady McCartney (née Eastman) was born on September 24th in 1941. She was born in New York City. Linda McCartney was an American photographer. Her father, Lee, was a well known entertainment attorney. Her mother, Louise, died in a plane crash when Linda was 18. She became Lady Linda McCartney when her husband Paul McCartney was knighted. After the Beatles broke up Paul McCartney formed Wings with her.
She appeared on the Simpsons with her husband Paul. She died of breast cancer in the McCartney's family ranch in Tucson, Arizona on April 17, 1998. Her ashes were spread in their family farm. She had three children with Paul, Mary Anna McCartney, Stella Nina McCartney and James Louis McCartney. She also had Heather McCartney with her first husband Joseph See whom Paul later adopted after his marriage to Linda. .
Linda McCartney wrote several vegetarian cookbooks and along with her husband worked on hehalf of animals and promoted vegetarianism. Her vegetarian cookbooks include Linda McCartney's Kitchen, Linda McCartney On Tour, and Linda McCartney's Home Cooking as well as others. She developed her own frozen food line, which is still popular today. She was a true pioneer in promoting kindness to animals through the vegetarian lifestyle. She met Paul at the Bag O' Nails club in 1967. They later married on March 12, 1969. She went on to photograph the Beatles and many other famous rock artists from the sixties including Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, The Rolling Stones and more. She also produced several books of her photographic work including Linda McCartney's Sixties, Portrat of an Era.
