Lady Madonna Single

Lady Madonna is a single by The Beatles. It is sung by Paul McCartney. It was released in 1968 and credited to Lennon/McCartney. It was the last Beatles single released on Parlophone/Columbia; all subsequent singes were on Apple.

Meaning

It has been suggested that "Lady Madonna" as about a prostitute; however, many people decline that idea and say it was about the band member's wives/girlfriends at home caring for the house and children while they were off performing and recording; hence the "listen to the music playing in your head" as all she/they can do is listen to the music in their heads because they can listen to the music for themselves.
