Hey Jude is a song by Paul McCartney of The Beatles, credited Lennon/McCartney. After 1966, when John Lennon said that they where more popular than Jesus, The Beatles made several struggling attempts, like Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Abbey Road, however the purpose of Hey Jude was to actually comfort Julian Lennon (aka "Jules") of his parents' divorce (John and Cynthia Lennon), but the amazing thing is they did both, they made it go number one on the Billboard hits again and they also comforted Jules.

CompositionEdit

The song was written by Paul McCartney, in an attempt to soothe Julian Lennon, John Lennon's son, after his father and mother, John's first wife Cynthia, got a divorce, the original name of the song was "Hey Jules". McCartney thought it up in his car while driving to Lennon's house to babysit his son Julian. "Revolution" was released as its B-side. It is also said that John misunderstood the song and thought that it was Paul telling John that he supported his relationship with Yoko.

Lyrics Edit

Hey Jude, don't make it bad, take a sad song and make it better. Remember to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better.

Jude, don't be afraid, you were made to go out and get her. The minute you let her under your skin, then you begin to make it better.

And anytime you feel the pain, hey Jude, refrain, don't carry the world upon your shoulder.

For well, you know that it's a fool who plays it cool by making his world a little colder.

Na, na, na, na, na na, na, na. na.

Hey Jude, don't let me down. You have found her, now go and get her. Remember to let her into your heart, then you can start to make it better.

So let it out and let it in hey Jude, begin, you're waiting for someone to perform with. And don't you know that it's just you? Hey Jude, you'll do, the movement you need is on your shoulder.

Na, na, na, na, na na, na, na. na.

Hey Jude, don't make it bad, take a sad song and make it better. Remember to let her under your skin, then you begin to make it better, better, better, better, better, better, oh!

Na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, na, hey, Jude (x19).
